The oft-quoted verse “Be Still and know that I am God.” can bring us comfort or make us feel like we aren’t doing the Christian life correctly. I think that God is more interested in our relationship with Him than our busyness, striving and working. However, we have to work and tend to the things He has given us. So how do we find the time to “be still”?  Deciding that this is something we want to do is first. Then try to find a few minutes to start. It doesn’t have to be much. Just 5 minutes to begin with. God blesses our efforts to be with Him. Then you will find that in moments here and there, your mind will bend towards thinking about the Lord.
